After her year as Miss America 2007, Lauren moved back home to Oklahoma. She continues to travel and speak on behalf of many of the companies she worked with as Miss America and her platform of Internet Safety. She is a Junior Public Relations major at the University of Central Oklahoma where she will graduate Fall 2011. On October 24, 2009, Lauren married Randy Faram. They live in Edmond, Oklahoma where they are active members in their church. Leading worship and being a part of the youth ministry at Edmond’s First Baptist Church take up most of their free time and they love every minute of it! Lauren believes strongly in the missions of the Miss Oklahoma and Miss America Organizations and will forever be a champion of all that they do for young women.
