EmolycrowningYes, we just crowned a new Miss Oklahoma a few short weeks ago but the 2011 pageant season has already begun. If you are interested in competing in the Miss Oklahoma Pageant, you must first win a local title. Local pageants are held now until February 2011. There are many opportunities for you to enter. Local pageants are a great way to gain experience, meet other ladies within the organization and win scholarship money for college.

A contestant within the Miss Oklahoma Organization (a part of the Miss America Organization) must compete in talent, interview, evening wear and physical fitness in swimsuit. Each contestant also selects a platform issue that is important to her, as well as supporting The Children’s Miracle Network, the official Miss America platform
