Miss Oklahoma 1991 Gina Lynne Smith

Gina-Lynne Smith currently resides in Wichita, Kansas and has a long-standing career in banking, franchising and hospitality. Gina-Lynne played an integral role in the development of both Candlewood Suites and, most recently, as president of the largest economy extended stay lodging franchise brand in the United States, Value Place.

A graduate of Oklahoma State University, Smith graduated as Outstanding Female Graduate of OSU. USA Today newspaper named her one of the “Top 40 Scholars in the Nation” in 1993. In 2001, Smith was named recipient of “Top 40 Under 40” Recipients in Wichita, KS. In 2010, Smith was featured again in USA Today franchising section.

Gina-Lynne is blessed with two children, Matthew (11) and Mia-Lynne (8). They enjoy nine pets, reading as a family, playing tennis, working puzzles, traveling and spending time with their grandparents in Stillwater. Gina-Lynne is active in her community and her children’s school. She also volunteers to speak to classes at her Alma Mater.
