During the second of three preliminary nights at the 2015 Miss America Competition in Boardwalk Hall, Miss Kentucky Ramsey Carpenter was named Wednesday night’s preliminary Talent winner for her fiddle performance of Sally Goodin and Orange Blossom Special. Ramsey will receive a $2,000 scholarship. Also capturing the spotlight was Miss Oklahoma Alex Eppler who was the preliminary Lifestyle and Fitness winner in a Catalina swimsuit. Alex will receive a $1,000 scholarship.
